Kolkata:
Metro Railway services were temporarily disrupted today as a 60-year-old man allegedly jumped to his death on its tracks at Rabindra Sadan station.
The police are treating the incident as a case of suicide.
Metro railway sources said a person, who was later on identified as Samsher Ali, jumped before the Kabi Subhas-bound down train as it was entering the station.
He was immediately removed from the tracks and rushed to a city hospital where he was declared 'brought dead', the police said.
Metro services along the down line were restored shortly after the tracks were cleared.
