Three people were crushed to death and five seriously injured on Thursday when a tanker lost control and slammed a tea stall in West Bengal's Nadia district, police said.
The accident took place in Jaguli, about 50 km from Kolkata, when the driver lost his control over the tanker after a tyre burst.
"Three persons were killed on the spot while five others were hospitalised with critical injuries," a police officer said.
