Kolkata: The police have registered a complaint after a woman alleged that she was raped 22 days ago while staying as a paying guest at a house in Alipore.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) P K Ghosh said that the complaint was lodged on Monday with the Chetla police station by the woman that she was allegedly raped on June 18 by the owner of the house at Alipore where she was staying as a paying guest.
Mr Ghosh said that the house-owner was absconding.
