Man Jumps To His Death From 8th Floor In Kolkata

Kolkata: One person in his mid-30s today allegedly committed suicide by jumping off from the terrace of an eight-storyed building in the northern part Kolkata today.

Joy Mukherjee, an employee of CESC Marketing Division reportedly jumped from the roof of an apartment at around 9.30 am, a senior officer of Kolkata Police said.

Hearing the thud, security guards and others rushed to the spot and found him lying in a pool of blood, the officer said.

He was rushed to RG Kar Hospital where he was declared brought dead, he said adding that the man was identified by the identity card inside his bag.
