Kolkata:
A person reportedly stabbed a woman to death, then attempted to commit suicide by stabbing himself at the crowded Sealdah station in Kolkata on Saturday evening.
Eyewitnesses say, at around 9 pm the two were seen having an argument, following which the man reportedly attacked the woman.
The woman, identified as Asha Ghosh, a resident of Garia in south Kolkata, reportedly died on way to hospital.
The man, a resident of Girish Park in north Kolkata, was critically injured. He has been admitted to the nearby NRS hospital.
The reason behind the assault is still not clear.
