Kolkata: Metro train services were disrupted today morning following a technical snag, an official said.
The non-AC rake from Kavi Subash station (south Kolkata) which started at 6.45 am was halted at Park Street station around 7.20 am
"Five of the coaches were inside the tunnel and three outside when the driver noticed a flash coming from the tracks. All passengers were evacuated and services temporarily stopped," a Metro rail spokesperson said.
Services will resume soon, the spokesperson added.
