Kolkata:
Authorities of Kolkata's Metro Railway have arranged special services this year during Durga Puja, which starts on October 1, for the convenience of revellers.
The services will be available between Kavi Subhash and Dum Dum stations from Saptami, October 1 to Navami and Dashami on October 3, Metro Railway sources said.
On these days, the first Metro service would start at 1.40 pm and run till 4 am.
On October 1, 160 Metro trains would run between Kavi Subhash and Dum Dum stations, on October 2 and October 3, 192 Metros would run between the two stations, the sources said.
On the day of Saptami, the trains would run at intervals of 8 minutes, 10 minutes and 15 minutes. On the next two days, the trains would run at intervals of 7 minutes and 15 minutes, sources added.
