Arko Chatterjee of St Xavier's Kolkata topped the ISC exam with 99.75%

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday congratulated two Kolkata students who topped the ICSE and ISC examinations.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) 2015 results today.
Arko Chatterjee from St Xavier's Collegiate School, Kolkata topped the ISC exams with 99.75 per cent marks while Saugata Chowdhury from Vivekananda Mission School, Kolkata, topped the ICSE with 99.2 per cent marks.
The Chief Minister tweeted:
A total of 71,141 students appeared for the ISC examinations this year, out of which 38,659 (54.34 per cent) were boys and 32,482 (45.66 per cent) were girls.
In ICSE, the pass percentage was 98.49 per cent - up by 0.21 per cent from last year, and 96.28 in ISC - up by 1.01 per cent from last year.
