1. The yogurt pack 

In a metal bowl, combine half a cup of yogurt with the fresh pulp of half a tomato. Mix together until they form a runny paste and apply all over the affected areas. Leave it for 20 minutes and wash off with cold water. Yogurt is known for its brightening agents while tomato is a popular tan remover. Together, they'll give your skin a more even, natural tone.

2. The oat pack

In a shallow bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of oatmeal with 2 tablespoons of buttermilk. Mix it well together to form a thick paste. Then apply it all over the tanned areas of your skin while rubbing in a circular motion. Leave it to air dry for 30 minutes then wash it off with warm water. While oat sloughs away dead cells, buttermilk will reduce tanning.

3. The potato pack

Now here's a potent home remedy that won't fail to get rid of the tan on your skin. To make it, cut half a potato into a few cubes and blend it in a mixer to make potato paste. To it, add 3 tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix them together and apply on tanned skin. Let it dry naturally and then wash off with cold water. With the enzyme catecholase found in potato and lemon's citric acid, this home remedy will help you get rid of your tan.

4. The saffron pack

Combine 4 tablespoons of fresh milk cream with 3 - 4 strands of saffron in a bowl. Mix well until the cream gets a yellow tinge, then apply over tanned skin. Leave it to dry naturally for 30 minutes and wash off with warm water. Both saffron and milk cream will not only brighten the skin but also leave it nourished and smooth.
