The term girl boss has gone on to become a part of every 20-something's Instagram biography. And while it sounds slick and sexy, there's a lot more to the term than a bestseller and a show on Netflix.
Today, girl bosses are strong, empowered women who want it all and work tirelessly to get it every single day. Here are 5 of them who serve as all the work inspiration we need.
1. Vandana Luthra

Vandana is also a Padma Shree awardee and is known for her educational philanthropy. Beauty, brains and a heart - the complete package!

After working for a slew of magazines and designers, in 2004, she set up the Tory Burch store in Manhattan. And what do you know - most of the inventory was sold out on the first day! Since then she has launched a variety of lines under her label in countries across the world. With her history, she is also a staunch supporter of women entrepreneurs with the Tory Burch Foundation.

The next time you feel sexy in your Spanx under that bodycon dress, thank Sarah.
