Coronavirus pandemic has made this world a difficult place to live in. Apart from being self-locked at home, the most important thing we should do is it to maintain certain hygiene and stay healthy. As we are unable to take a tour of the salon, let's start our self care from home following a haircare regime. Rather than feeling homebound, make complete use of this time to care for your hair. If you think that oiling your hair and rinsing with shampoo are enough to get those beautiful locks, you are wrong. There are many other things that should be maintained to get gorgeous hair at home. To get you started, we have shared some hair care tips for you, especially for this lockdown period. Take a quick tour of it.
Tips To Take Care Of Your Hair During Lockdown
Here are tips for you to make the best of this quarantine phase with proper hair care.
1. Hot Oil Massage
Remember how grandma used to give us a hot oil massage? It is extremely good to nourish our scalp from deep within. In turn, it gives you healthy hair by stimulating hair follicles and of course, providing hydration.

2. Hot Towel Spa
Many of you may not know that the best way to make the oil deeply nourish your hair is to wrap around a hot towel. Dip your towel into warm water and after straining the water wrap it around your head. Keep it for 6-8 minutes and then go for rinsing.
3. Shampoo Is Not Enough
Remember using shampoo is not enough even if you use paraben free products. Shampoo takes away the moisture from your hair and for that, you must use top-rated nourishing hair masks right after rinsing with shampoo. Try avoiding natural hair conditioners like raw egg, curd or any citric food.
4. Say Yes To Hair Serum
Serum helps to prevent your hair from getting that strange frizz. Other than that it gives you tangle-free, smooth and shiny hair instantly.
5. A Big No To Blow Dry
As you are home, preparing your hair with blow dry or any other hair styling tools like straightener, curler, gel, setting spray etc should be avoided. Give a complete detox to your scalp and hair for few days during lockdown.
6. Avoid Wet Combing
When our movement wasn't restricted, we used to comb our hair in a hurry to go out. That is not a good idea. You should always give some time to your hair to get naturally dried up and then use your comb gently.
Hope these above mentioned tips will help your hair stay healthy.
