Acne Alert: 3 Quick And Easy Ways To Get Rid Of Pesky Summer Breakouts
With the summer here and the humidity rising, skin breakouts become more common

Okay, let's be honest. There are few things in the world more horrifying than waking up with a giant zit, or worse, a whole lot of them, appearing on your face. It may be one of our least favourite experiences in the world, but the truth is it is definitely not an uncommon experience. The zit gods spare no one, and they don't seem to care what day or occasion it is either. With the summer here and the humidity rising like there's no tomorrow, the situation might seem like it's getting even more out of hand. But don't throw your hands in the air and give up just yet. There are a few ways to deal with that pesky summer breakout. Even if nothing else works, one of these definitely will.

1. Ice it

It's a simple first step while dealing with an incoming pimple. As soon as you spot it, or even sense it, begin icing the area gently with a cube of ice. Follow it up by applying an oil absorbing face mask. If you have super sensitive skin, do consult a dermatologist for which face pack you should or should not use.

2. Test the magic of tea tree oil

Tea tree oil really can work like magic if you're dealing with an acne breakout or even just a single zit. Its antibacterial properties help reduce redness and inflammation. To reduce inflammation, mix some honey and yogurt together in a bowl and add a few drops of tea tree oil into the mixture. Apply this pack on your face and leave it for 10-15 minutes. This will help soothe the acne. If you're looking for a quicker solution, simply dilute some tea tree oil in water and apply gently with some cotton to the affected areas.

3. Aloe vera to the rescue

The beauty benefits of aloe vera are known all through the world - and it is no secret that it can do wonders for your hair and skin. But every once in a while, a reminder doesn't hurt. The antibacterial properties of aloe vera gel are very effective in treating acne and reducing the redness caused by it. Why not try a face pack with aloe vera if you're troubled by acne? Simply mix one tablespoon of honey, half a tablespoon of rose water and one tablespoon of aloe vera gel. Mix it well and apply all over your face. This soothing concoction will help you reduce that inflammation in no time.

Summer, do your worst.
