Fashion designer Masaba Gupta has always been a strong advocate of body positivity. Masaba, who welcomed her first child with Satyadeep Mishra, kicked off her postpartum recovery routine with a yoga session at home. Masaba shared a video of herself doing Chakrasana. Known for strengthening weakened muscles after childbirth, the asana is a great way to get back on track. It improves your spinal flexibility and posture and helps you open up your chest and lungs.

In the video, Masaba, dressed in a maroon t-shirt and black leggings, lies on her back with her feet apart and knees bent. Next, she places her palms under her shoulders and lifts her hips off the ground. The side note read, "The first Chakrasana postpartum feels like being reborn. But no better way to end a year… or start a new one for that matter."
Here Are Some Yoga Poses To Practice Post Delivery
1. Tadasana
Stand with your feet together, lift your thighs and waist, and elongate your spine. This yoga pose helps in improving posture and aligning the spine, which is especially beneficial for postpartum women experiencing backaches.
2. Bhujangasana
Also known as the Cobra Pose, Bhujangasana involves lying on your stomach and lifting your chest to resemble a cobra. It strengthens the back muscles, opens the chest, and improves spinal flexibility.
3. Balasana
Balasana is a yoga pose that involves kneeling and resting the forehead on the floor. It is a restorative pose that relaxes your body and mind, relieves back strain and stretches the lower back.
4. Yoga Nidra
This yogic sleep meditation technique helps you achieve a state of deep relaxation. It promotes better sleep, reduces stress and rejuvenates the body.
5. Paschimottanasana
This yoga asana stretches the back of the body and improves flexibility in the spine, hips, and lower back.
