Hollywood actress Michelle Yeoh has had a very rewarding 2023 so far. In March, she won the Oscar for the Best Actress in Everything Everywhere All at Once and became the first Asian woman to win the award as a leading actress. This month, congratulations are in order once more for Michelle as she tied the knot with former Ferrari CEO Jean Todt in an intimate ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland. Brazilian racecar driver Felipe Massa took to Instagram to share snapshots from the private function. In the photos of what appear to be a reception, Michelle looked elegant in a beige lace column-style dress with a satin corset detail which had embellishment over the front. Jean looked sharp in a black suit and white shirt with a blue tie. In another set of pictures from presumably the civil ceremony, the groom wore a suit while the bride looked beautiful in a white tiered skirt with a silk shirt.

The photos also give us a peek into the couple's private relationship which has surpassed decades. In June 2004, Jean met Michelle in Shanghai and a month later in July 2004, he proposed to her and she said yes. Because when you know, you know. But they weren't in any rush to make it to the alter. "After 6992 days" or approximately 19 years of being engaged, they married.
When you think of newlyweds, you'd never imagine a bride and groom in their 60s and 70s. But Michelle's journey, whether to winning an Oscar or having a wedding, has proved that age doesn't have to be a barrier. That's true for hitting the peak of your career or settling down with the love of your life. Everybody's timing is different and this couple's relationship shows us that love will find its way into one's life, regardless of age.
