Hina Khan is going through, what is possibly, one of the most challenging periods in her life. The television actress recently announced on Instagram that she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. While this might be one of her toughest moments, Hina isn't allowing the disease to get the better of her or her mind. In her latest post on Instagram, she shared a video which showed her attending an award ceremony and then visiting the hospital for a chemotherapy session. It's a stark contrast to see Hina's worlds of glitzy awards functions and terrifying hospital visits, collide. As upsetting as it may be, she isn't letting it affect her mental state. No siree, Hina isn't let the disease define her or turn her journey into a sympathy-woven tale She's taking her breast cancer diagnosis in her stride and has "decided to keep the spirit of positivity as the first tool" in her toolkit. Breast cancer may be physical battle that one's body fights but the body is only strengthened when the mind is impenetrable.

It's "mind over matter" for Hina, which she detailed in the caption of her video, which says, "We become what we believe in and I have decided to take this challenge as an opportunity to reinvent myself, again. I have decided to keep the spirit of positivity as the first tool in my toolkit. I choose to Normalise this experience for me and I have consciously decided to manifest the outcome I desire. For me ..my work commitments matter. For me my motivation, passion and art matters. I refuse to bow down. This award that I received right before my first chemo was not my motivation alone, in fact I attended this event to reassure myself that I am living up to the benchmark, I have set up for myself".
Last week, Hina shared the news of her cancer diagnosis, within which we caught a glimpse of her fighting spirit. The message includes the words, "I am strong, determined and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger." The comments featured responses from celebrity friends like Mouni Roy and Juhi Parmar, encouraging her with strength and positivity.
With a determined mind and fierce spirit, we are certain that Hina Khan's journey is only going upward from here.
