Late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs left an imperishable footprint on the technology industry. With the hope of keeping his legacy alive, in November 2022, a used pair of his Birkenstocks, which still carried his feet's imprints, were sold at an auction for Rs 1.77 crore. In the latest turn of events, an art project called ABCD by Jose Wong has come up with an exact replica of Steve Jobs' used pair of sandals. This latest release is aimed at immortalising the late American business magnate's iconic Birkenstock sandals. Jose Wong dropped a series of pictures of brown suede leather Arizona sandals on Instagram.
Talking about the replica, this piece is not just a copy of the Mink Arizona Soft Footbed model in Steve Jobs' favourite hue. ABCD made sure to imitate the sandals worn by Jobs. It includes suede strap uppers, a worn footbed and the exact foot markings as left by the man himself. Wondering what it looks like? At first glance, it appears as if they had been run over by a semi-truck full of iPhones. With faded colour and a sole that looks as if it is about to come off, the sandals are called ABCD 2066 Slide, on Jose Wong's site. If you are wondering how much it will cost you? The designer is selling it at $128 which is roughly Rs 10,619.
