Alaya Furniturewalla Is Built Differently With Her Weighted Squat Shoulder Press

Alaya Furniturewalla's fitness diaries are the perfect source of inspiration for every gym-goer. From hitting cardio to lifting weights, she does it all to maintain her enviable physique. While we love seeing the actress on the big screen, it's her workout videos that keep us going through the week. She recently posted a video of herself attempting the impossible (or so we thought.)  Dressed in her athleisure best, Alaya is holding a dumbbell in each hand. While we anticipated her to do some shoulder warm-up exercises, the star took us by surprise by hopping onto a stability ball placed right in front of her. It gets even better, as she not only balances herself but also does shoulder presses and even squats on the ball. She's a pro, there's nothing else that can describe what she's capable of doing. She captioned, “Kaunsi jang ke liye taiyari kar rahi ho, AF? [Which battle are you preparing for, AF? “Feeling so proud of what I was able to do today in class with Sunpreet Singh (fitness trainer) got my hop-ups on my first attempt and even added weights to it because why not felt like quite a beast.”

Ending her note with a warning and a fair one at that she said, “PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME WITHOUT SUPERVISION, CRASH MATS AND PROPER TRAINING, you can get very injured if this is done incorrectly!” Take notes.

It is not the first time that Alaya Furniturewalla has done squats on a ball. In March, the star shared another video of doing the exercise. Can you guess the number of repetitions? 10. Yes, you read that right. In the caption, Alaya thanked her fitness coach and wrote, “Legs are burning, feet are burning, toes are burning but I made it to 10 squats on the gym ball!!! nothing feels better than progress please see how happy I am when I reach 10 and how dead I am when I get off the ball thank you for teaching me how to do these incredible things Sunpreet Singh !!”
