Meeting deadlines and juggling hectic schedules is a part of life, moreover, if you're a celebrity. But to take your mind off stress and anxiety, it is important to adopt wellness habits. If you need any inspiration, Alaya Furniturewalla is here to help with her latest Instagram post. Recently, the actress shared a post on Instagram presenting her “life lately”. From doing workouts to eating healthy and watching pretty skies, the carousel offers a sneak peek into Alaya's self-care routine. One of the videos shows her exhibiting the scorpion pose (Vrischikasana) quite masterfully. The yoga asana strengthens the body, alleviates stress and promotes digestion. Alaya's well-being regimen also includes journaling, pushups, eating nutritious food and enjoying serene sunsets at a beach. Glimpses from her gym sessions also made it to the photo dump, underlining her love for exercise. In one clip, Alaya executed a set of headstand variations as well. This aerobic activity improves blood flow, maintains balance, and builds shoulder and arm strength. “Finally got my feet to touch my head in scorpion, lots of painful (but rewarding) stretching, setting new goals, eating clean, beautiful views and positive thoughts,” read Alaya's motivational side note.

Alaya F is a yoga girl and she has never failed to impress us. On International Yoga Day, she shared a video on Instagram performing a range of asanas including headstands, stretching exercises, and summersaults. “Yoga has become such an integral part of my life and I'm so grateful for all the strength, peace and focus it brings me! Whether I'm on holiday, on set or at home, for me, every day is Yoga Day,” she wrote in the caption. Yoga promotes balance and flexibility, improves posture and enhances mind-body coordination. 

Before that, Alaya revealed taking a “mental health break” after realising that she was suffering from burnout. To cope with the stress, she embarked on a solo trip “in the mountains getting ayurvedic treatments, Tibetan massages, acupuncture, reflexology, doing cleanses, meditating, swimming, journaling and reading books”. Oh, she was also on a “digital detox” during the vacation.
