No matter what you do or where in the world you are, your best friends wedding is one event you wouldn't want to miss for the world. Alia Bhatt is no exception. Although, the pretty Bollywood actress has been busy shooting and prepping for her upcoming films Gully boy and Brahmastra, Alia made sure to take the week off to be present at her bestie Kripa Mehta's wedding - right from the wedding pre-party to the wedding pheras. That Alia Bhatt loves her friends is pretty evident from her Instagram account, but this time Alia has given the world all sorts of goals. Friendship goals and bridesmaids goals, yes, but also fashion goals; if you look at Alia's outfits you'll know exactly what we're talking about.
The main wedding functions took place in Jodhpur over the last three days. Alia was right by her bestie and bride Kripa Mehta's side the entire time.
The wedding started with the mehendi function for which Alia wore a yellow embroidered anarkali suit from Manish Malhotra. She looked every bit the radiant, yet understated bridesmaid that we expected her to look.
The bride also wore shades of yellow and pink with a heavy black embroidered lehenga. Alia posed happily with her best friend and the rest of her squad at the event.
The mehendi was followed by the sangeet in the evening. For this event, Alia wore a rose pink 3D floral blouse and lehenga with hints of powder green, embellished with handmade flowers in organza, glass beading and rhinestones, from Koecsh by Krésha Bajaj. She completed her look with a headpiece from Isharya and soft dewy makeup.
Alia seemed to be having a great time as she posed with her long time best friend, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor.
If you thought Alia Bhatt was just a guest at the wedding, think again. Alia wasn't just there looking gorgeous and posing happily for the cameras. She was as invested in the wedding as any best friend would be (read: preparing a dance and all that).
Alia performed a dance along with the rest of their friends for Kripa's big day.
And also got teary eyed as Kripa performed on stage.

After all the partying from the sangeet, the next day was followed by a leisurely polo match. For this daytime event, Alia wore a peach embroidered dress from Gauri and Nainika and a fascinator from Delna Poonawalla.
Come the main wedding day, and Alia definitely sparkled in another creation from Koecsh by Kresha Bajaj and jewels from Amrapali.
She looked lovely in her silver grey lehenga and was seen posing with her friends just a few moments before the wedding ceremony.
Well, if there's one thing you can take away from this, it is that Alia Bhatt makes for a great friend (not to mention the perfect bridesmaid).
