We got the first glimpse of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani with the much-awaited teaser released today. Featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead, the teaser has definitely ignited a wave of excitement in the hearts of Bollywood buffs. While the grandeur, the chemistry between Alia and Ranveer held our attention throughout, we couldn't help but notice the gorgeous sarees Alia Bhatt wore.

In her introduction shot, Alia Bhatt looks like the typical Karan Johar heroine, who is posing against a backdrop of snow-clad mountains and trees. The actress twirls in a stunning baby pink drape, which features a sleek embroidered border. She styled it with a black square-cut neckline blouse. Straightened tresses and the minimalistic glam only complimented her charm.
Even on the big screen, Alia Bhatt carried her own little sun along. What do we mean? Her bright sunny yellow organza saree, of course. She nailed the monochrome magic with a sweetheart neckline blouse, in the same hue. Oxidised jhumkas and a diamond nose pin for accessories suited her look. The kohl-rimmed eyes, glossy nude lips, and a black bindi rounded off her glam.
The actress embraces the colour-blocking trend in a much more desi way. Her multi-colour saree featured pink, parrot green, sky blue and violet colours. It was teamed with an equally colourful strappy blouse, covered with dense floral work. We loved how Alia's looks were elevated by regular jhumkas and a nose pin. Her statement kohl-rimmed eyes are making us fall in love with her glam game.

Alia Bhatt's love for white sarees is no secret. During the promotion of her film Gangubai Kathiawadi, she introduced us to the various shades of white. After all, the beauty of a pristine white saree is unmatched. In one of the romantic frames of the teaser, featuring Alia and Ranveer, we got a glimpse of the actress' gorgeous white drape. The sheer number featured floral embroidery all over in a similar shade.
It can't get any more desi than dancing in the rain in a saree. Alia Bhatt doesn't just make us fall in love all over again in a teal saree, but it is worth mentioning that her silent tribute to Sridevi in a similar teal saree in one of the most iconic rain sequences is a wonderful one.
Alia Bhatt's colour palette for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is all things vibrant. For instance, this simple plain royal blue ethnic wonder came with a yellow ombre hue running across the border. Underneath, she wore a muted red blouse, which added further pop of colour.
We would like to sign a petition to make Alia Bhatt wear a red saree in almost every film possible. A bonus of the red saree is always paired with a black blouse just so Alia can make our hearts skip a beat every time.
We weren't prepared for Alia Bhatt's magic in black in this absolutely stunning sheer drape, which featured black sequin and blue glass work. The actress paired it with a black velvet blouse featuring a plunging sweetheart neckline. Oxidised accessories were the perfect addition to her jaw-dropping fashion outing.
