Even though Alicia Vikander is a bonafide star who showcased her talent onscreen in movies like Ex Machina, The Danish Girl and The Man From U.N.C.L.E., we see her only a smattering of times off the silver screen. But that will soon change as Alicia will be bringing to life video game toughie Lara Croft in her upcoming movie, Tomb Raider. We're hoping that leads to many more events where we'll get to spot the star more often.

The recent Los Angeles premiere of Tomb Raider was one such time when Alicia appeared for a rare outing looking like nothing short of a smoke show. For the premiere, the actress looked stunning in a metallic printed bronze pleated Louis Vuitton gown with a sweetheart neckline and off-shoulder detail.

But it was the beauty look that the actress paired with the ensemble that really blew us away. Alicia opted for naturally covered skin with a bronzed glow across her cheeks and forehead. With it, she added a creamy burgundy lip and a cool winged liner look with dual flicks at the end. And that's not all. The finishing touch to her look was her rocker chic hairdo. With her strikingly chic makeup look, Alicia chose a side part with shiny waves on one side and on the other, rolled sections that resemble a subdued version of cornrows. If Lara Croft ever went undercover to a charity gala situated at heiress' castle in the hills, this is what she'd wear.

It's no wonder Alicia Vikander is looking phenomenal even before we catch her onscreen as Lara Croft and it's mainly because she's worked extremely hard for it. Playing the leading role in the action-packed Tomb Raider, you wouldn't expect anything less. According to PopSugar, Alicia comes from a background as a ballerina so along with that, her trainer Magnus Lydback said that they did trained with a mix of strength and functional workouts for her to gain 12 pounds of muscle for her strong, toned appearance in the movies. And you thought actresses had it easy.
