Fashion is not everyone's cup of tea. There are some who dress to kill and then there are some who make all the wrong choices. While fashion is subjective, the one rule that is followed by top fashionistas all over is to always keep it simple and stylish. You don't really need to cover yourself in excessive luxury brands but perhaps sport just one showstopper piece to stand out. Most of our leading ladies in Bollywood know how to make heads turn, but then there is Ameesha Patel for whom less is never enough.
Ameesha Patel's Instagram handle is proof that she just cannot go about her day without flaunting her luxury brands. Sometimes three or more at the same time. And then there are days when she picks outfits we just don't get. Such as these ripped jeans that really need to be recycled.
Her sheer dress in this post does nothing to accentuate her figure or set a trend.
We love gold and we love shimmer but maybe not at the same time. Here Ameesha goes overboard with all that bling.
Or the time she wore this tacky printed dress that was poles apart from the shimmer trend that was doing the rounds. Kareena Kapoor Khan and squad had aced the look at the 40th birthday party celebrations of Amrita Arora.
Her knee studded trousers is not our favourite either, adding unnecessary drama to an otherwise elegant look.
Leather skirts never fail to make heads turn. Ameesha Patel catches attention too in this leather skirt but for the wrong reasons. Teaming it with a netted top doesn't do justice to either of the clothing pieces.
We only wish she stops trying hard to impress and instead resorts to the 'less is more' philosophy.
