Amy Jackson-Ed Westwick's English Home Is "Massively Inspired" By The Places They've Travelled To

Amy Jackson and Ed Weswick's love for nature and serenity was the contributing factor behind building their dream home in England's scenic countryside.

Their residence boasts a modern design with rustic Italian elements. The minimalist yet intricate interior decor gets its charm from the limewash walls and wooden flooring. In addition to that, soft textures dominate the place, making up for a warm and comfortable setting.

For Ed Westwick, “Living beautifully means having that space that you just feel safe with. It brings you peace and makes you feel happy and calm.” And his home reflects something similar. In an interview with Westwing, Ed and Amy spilled it all- the decor, the mastermind behind the plan and what inspired them. 

When asked about the decor style, Ed said, “It is a little bit difficult to exactly pinpoint the style but we wanted something warm and cosy but also elevated and spacious.” He added that his wife Amy was the architect behind the decor. “Happy wife, happy life,” chimed in Amy playfully before adding that they were “massively inspired by all the places” they travelled. The actress added that their residence was an ode to the scenic English countryside.

Large windows and arches can be found aplenty as they allow sunlight into the rooms, creating a positive ambiance. Earthy tones in shades of white, ivory, beige and brown remind us of the quaint Autumn season. Abstract wall paints and art decor captures the essence of the colourful withering leaves during Fall. Woodsy details with a contemporary vibe,  that's the kitchen you cannot miss seeing. Crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling above an eight-seated table contributed to the regal touch. 

The living area overlooked a lush lawn surrounding the mansion, adding to the quintessential rural feel. Statement furniture, including oak disc mirrors and white linen couches, serve sophistication and grandeur in equal measure.
