It has been over 16 years since The Devil Wears Prada released but not a day goes by in the fashion world without throwing it back to 2006. From the iconic dialogues and runway styles, to characteristic display of an ambitious girl in the city against an overambitious fashion force, iconic may just be an understatement to describe this film after all. A fashion classic, there are many takeaways from this film. And one of the major takeaways made a glorious comeback 16 years later for the Michael Kors show at New York Fashion Week 2022. Anne Hathaway who plays Andy Sachs, a young budding journalist in the film, gave us all a moment to remember. Anne Hathaway dressed up as Andy Sachs was seated next to Anna Wintour at the front row for the Michael Kors show - we never knew we'd live to see the day Andy has truly arrived.

In case the iconic bangs with the face framing strands on the side seemed like the only uncanny resemblance to her character as Andy, wait, there's more. Anne Hathaway was dressed in a brown leather trench layered over a thick woolen dress along with a brown clutch and Christian Louboutin So Kate heels to go. True fans were quick to notice her throwback to her brown jacket which she wore in the film too. To believe she doesn't look a day older than 2006 baffles us to the point where we almost believed her seated next to the fashion world's backbone, Anna Wintour was either a scene edited from the final cut or just a scene we missed subconsciously.

Anne Hathaway recently attended the Valentino Haute Couture show in Rome and rocked the barbiecore trend like it isn't even Barbie's business to do so. That's some monochrome magic just waiting to happen.
We just hope Anne Hathaway didn't throw her phone in the fountain right after.
