Anushka Sharma has constantly been wowing us with her sartorial choices for Sui Dhaaga promotions. From a chikankaari suit to a Benarasi saree, she has been wearing a range of Indian clothes and giving us some major style goals to chase. And now she is stunning us with yet another desi look. Yesterday, for yet another promotional event, Anushka wore a Matsya sharara suit paired with Purab Paschim jhumkas and Fizzy Goblet juttis. The blue and gold of the outfit was a fine balance of dazzle with simplicity. It was also a lesson on how to carry a printed or embroidered dupatta with a solid coloured outfit. Anushka went for minimal makeup and open hair with the look. The outfit was from the brand’s ‘The Storytellers’ collection, showcasing gharchola, kundan, chaandbaali, and sitaara work.

Wearing Indian outfits seems like a huge part of promoting a film that talks about Make In India. Which is why we weren’t really surprised with Anushka’s spate of desi ensembles. She impressed us in an elegant white Maku Textiles saree paired with a blue and white gingham checked short-sleeved blouse. We loved the fact that she was first spotted wearing this at the airport. Nothing like some desi outfit vibes at the airport.

The actress also wore a beautiful green Benarasi chanderi silk saree when she attended the Priyadarshni Academy’s 34th Anniversary Global Awards, where she was awarded the Smita Patil Memorial Award. Paired with a matching silk blouse and statement jewellery, Anushka looked quite regal.

Here’s hoping that Anushka continues to wear a range of Indian outfits even when Sui Dhaaga promotions are over.
