It's only September and Bollywood's most fashionable are already gearing up for the arrival of autumn. Regardless if majority of the country doesn't experience crunchy leaves beneath their feet or dipping temperatures, they are dressing the part. Sonam Kapoor's mustard tones were the first sign while Anushka Sharma's latest look is proof that autumn is coming, albeit a little early.
Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan's upcoming movie Sui Dhaaga revolves around a garment business being built in the heart of India and ideally so, the former has kept her fashion game strong for film promotions. She has rocked rich jewel tones and solid neutral shades but it was at her most recent appearance that she really hit the nail on seasonally-appropriate dressing.

For the event with Varun Dhawan, Anushka wore a black Sahil Kochhar midi dress with a dark floral print in tones of mustard, red and beige. The dress saw sheer ruffles at the cuffs, waist and hemline. The outfit was paired with black stilettos from Alexandre Birman.
Staying true to the wonderfully subtle makeup she has been sporting during movie promotions, Anushka opted for a neutral look with a mid-length ponytail.

On first thought, you wouldn't think of florals as an autumn-appropriate print. But just opting for a darker colour palette like Anushka did, compared one of her previous lighter floral looks, changed that completely. Rounded off with dark accessories and a subtle look, with an outfit like this, we can't wait for autumn's arrival.
