Colour blocking may have been around for years now but we're thankful to celebrities who are bringing it back. Raveena Tandon worked bright clashes of colour like a star and so did Sonali Bendre in a vibrant saree. Anushka Sharma is the latest on the colour blocking bandwagon but there's more to it than a pretty dress. Thanks to promotions of her upcoming movie Sui Dhaaga, Anushka has resurfaced on the Bollywood circuit with a style game that tops the class. From rocking seas of neutral shades to sporting a magnificently muted makeup look, she's on a roll. Her latest outfit only added to it.

For an event with co-star Varun Dhawan, Anushka wore an outfit that was dramatically different from her previous looks. She wore a navy blue, teal green and gold long-sleeved wrap dress from Grassroot by Anita Dongre. Anushka's makeup continued to stay subtle yet defined while she wore her hair in brown curls and paired the outfit with black sandals.

If you thought that this was just another celebrity outfit showcasing colour blocking, you couldn't be more wrong. This is colour blocking taken up a few notches. For one, the jewel shades are toned down but still vibrant as ever, a striking colour palette that's an autumn favourite. Then there's the matter of the prints going on. The dress is home to a wide variation of stripes. Together, the print mixing and colour blocking finds a harmonious blend for Anushka's look.
