Hina Khan is battling stage 3 breast cancer like a true warrior. Since her diagnosis, the actress has been keeping us updated on her journey. Even amid her chemotherapy sessions, Hina continues to hit the gym under her doctor's guidance. In an Instagram post, she shared a video of her intense workout. In the clip, the actress can be seen doing dumbbell sumo squats, cable chest flies, wrist exercises, bent-over rows, inchworms, shoulder presses with the Smith machine, leg extensions and cable rows. “Thousand Reasons may present itself to pull you down every day. But I have a Promise to fulfil for my future self. And I am committed. Are you? Below are the benefits of all the exercises Hina Khan included in her workout session:
1. Dumbbell Sumo Squats: They effectively activate muscle groups throughout the lower body and lower back. They also improve balance by activating your core muscles.
2. Cable Chest Flies: This exercise helps in strengthening chest muscles, shoulders, and arms. It also activates your abdominal and spine muscles.
3. Wrist Exercises With A Dumbbell: These types of exercises strengthen the wrist muscles from straining during heavy workloads.
4. Bent-Over Rows: This workout prevents the overdevelopment of the pushing muscles of the upper body.
5. Inchworms: They mainly focus on increasing flexibility in your hamstrings as well as increasing strength in your shoulders and chest.
6. Shoulder Presses: Develop shoulder muscles and gain upper body strength by doing this exercise.
7. Leg Extensions: They help to strengthen the knee joint, amongst other major benefits.
8. Cable Rows: This exercise helps build shoulder muscles, improve grip strength, develop core stability, prevent injury pain and more.
