1. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is known to have antioxidant properties and hence it helps in giving a soothing sensation to the skin. For this remedy, take pulp of aloe vera and apply to the affected areas of the skin, leave it on for about 15-20 minutes and then wash it off. 2. Watermelon
One of the most refreshing summer fruits, watermelon has great cooling and soothing properties. It helps in dealing with prickly heat and other skin rashes caused due to heat. For this remedy, take a piece of watermelon, squeeze the juice and keep it aside. Remove the seeds from the pulp and then apply it on the affected areas of the skin. Leave it on for about 30 minutes and then wash it off.
3.Sandalwood
Sandalwood is a natural coolant and hence can easily treat rashes caused due to heat. For this remedy take two tablespoon of sandalwood powder in a bowl and add rosewater accordingly to make a paste out of it. a[ply the paste on the affected areas and leave it on for 30-40 minutes, then wash it off with cold water.
4. Neem Leaves+Turmeric
Neem and turmeric are known for their medicinal properties. Neem leaves are antimicrobial and antibacterial agents and have high anti-inflammatory properties. You need to take a few freshly crushed neem leaves, add some water to it and then add two tablespoons of turmeric to it, mix it well and apply the paste on the skin. Leave it on for some time and then rinse it off with cold water.
5. Cucumber
Cucumber has amazing cooling properties and gives quick relief from rashes and itchy skin that can be caused due to extreme heat in summers. Whenever using cucumber on skin, never rub or slide it, always gently tap it on the skin. For this remedy, you can either directly used sliced cucumber or skin or you can strain the cucumber juice and use cotton pads to apply on the skin. Leave it on for some time and then rinse it off. This can be repeated every day for better results.
