This Monday began on a fashionable note and the BAFTA Film Awards 2023 were the reason why. In attendance at the event were the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton with her husband Prince William, Florence Pugh, Cate Blanchett, Jamie Lee Curtis and many more A-listers from the country and the rest of the world. British songstress Ellie Goulding was also present at the event and this time, it wasn't her foot-tapping music that got everybody's attention. For the BAFTA Film Awards 2023, Ellie made sure to turn heads with her daring outfit.

The artist chose a dark grey flowing gown which had a gentle sheen to it. Pleats overtook the gown and along with the flowing length, her ensemble features long sheer cape sleeves. But the most daring part of her outfit was front and centre at the neckline. It featured a structured neckline with a circular loop that reached high on her waist. Accenting it was a glorious diamond necklace shaped like a snake which was worn high on her neck and paired with matching diamond studs and earrings.

With it, Ellie opted for a pinned back hairstyle with a centre-parting. She opted for a shimmery pink eye set with full lashes. Rosy cheeks, narrow brown brows and a muted mauve lip completed her makeup look that complemented the grey tones of her look without taking anything away from it. Simplicity certainly reigned for Ellie Goulding at this function and we're sure you'd agree with that.
