Miles Teller Said "Men Don't Get Proposed To" So Wife Keleigh Did This

The game of love comes with a set of unwritten rules and proposing to your beloved is one of them. But no one has declared that those rules cannot be reversed by the genders. While conventionally it is the male partner that proposes his love to the female partner, that is well-meaningly changing today. Hollywood actor Miles Teller is coming up on his 5th wedding anniversary with his wife Keleigh Teller shortly but even before the big day, Keleigh pulled out the mother of all surprises. In her latest post on Instagram, a video shows the star wife bending down on one knee while her actor husband looks surprised. Pictures also show Miles being serenaded by a riverside while the sun dipped into the horizon. The anniversary celebrations seemed to continue with a decorated boat arriving at the dock, which took their friends and family out on the water. In her caption, Keleigh spoke about pulling off the surprise by reversing the gender stereotyped activity, which was something Miles had long spoken about. She stated, "An early 5 year wedding anniversary surprise, miles always said it's not fair men don't get proposed to so cheesed out and did it for him with his dream boat."

Before Keleigh proposed to Miles for their 5th wedding anniversary celebrations, closer home in Bollywood it was Aditi Rao Hydari who pulled off her own proposal too. The actress announced her engagement to actor Siddharth in March 2024 in a post that suggested she had proposed to him. Along with a picture of both of them showcasing their engagement rings, Aditi wrote, "He said yes! E. N. G. A. G. E. D." Siddharth shared the same photo on his Instagram profile with the caption stating, "She Said YES!".

It's heartening to see that proposals aren't necessarily thrust on the male partner in the relationship, and it looks like that is catching up in every part of the world.
