Besides being a scorcher on the ramp, the younger Hadid sister Bella also takes her fashion sensibilities off the runway. With her trademark choices of cutaways, sheer and satin, she's a constant feature on best dressed lists, be it at Cannes or Coachella. At a recent event, she went one step to show us that she hasn't just got the look, she got the chops to work it in more ways than one. All of that in a matter of one night.
After being the beauty ambassador for French designer Christian Dior for two years, Bella is set to launch a new collaboration. Called Dior Backstage, this new makeup line is touted to be a range of foundations and palettes at a slightly lower price point with inclusivity in mind. The range is designed with Bella and was launched with her in London. Being the beauty ambassador at a designer bash, the stakes were high for Bella but she crushed them; not once but twice.
Earlier in the evening, Bella wore a black sleeveless vest with a bow tied back. With it was a long tulle skirt, a clutch and topping off the all-black look, a beret with a veil. Chiseled cheekbones, glossy lips and winged eyeliner. Classy with a risqué touch, Bella nailed the brief for the chic French designer's launch party.
But that wasn't all from the supermodel. Later that night, she went for a quick change that was cool yet still stylish. Bella wore the same black vest but this time, she paired it with blue mom jeans which had knee rips and a broad black belt. The beret and veil were the piece de résistance so of course they had to stay.
