Just in time for the summer holiday season, travel review aggregator and travel portal TripAdvisor announced their much-awaited winners of its 2023 Travellers' Choice Best of the Best Hotel Awards. The list covers the best stays in India and also around the world. As is widely known by now, Rambagh Palace in Jaipur topped the list. But which other hotels were featured on the list and how were they judged?
Marketed as the world's largest travel portal, Trip Advisor outlined the parameters of assessment for the awards on their site: 'We award Travellers' Choice Best of the Best to hotels with a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from our community over 12 months. Each winner has passed our rigorous trust and safety standards. Fewer than 1% of Tripadvisor's 8 million listings are awarded Best of the Best, signifying the highest level of excellence in hospitality.' With thumbs-ups from numerous travellers, this list is definitely a must-see.
