Between Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhasker And Shikha Talsania, We Can't Pick A Favourite Veere Di Wedding Look

Okay, okay, we know you all are damn excited because the Veere Di Wedding trailer is finally out and it promises to be one fun ride, if we go by the trailer that is. After much waiting and anticipation, we finally have an idea as to what the movie will be about - four friends going through four different life crises, and they all got each others' backs. In a way reminiscent of Aisha, but that only makes us want to watch it already. In the trailer, actresses Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania play four friends who cope with various stages of emotional and physical disarray, navigating romantic distress of several levels with the help of much cussing. Each character has a problem of her own to circumvent but even while venting about sex (or the lack of it), relationships (or the lack of them) and impending weddings and divorces, the veeres keep it stylish. This is, after all, a Sonam Kapoor film.

Of course, we aren't counting the Disney princess ballgown Kareena's character is made to wear at a pre-wedding event in the film - she's as unimpressed by it as we are. But the rest of the fashion on display in the trailer suggests Veere Di Wedding is going to be worth watching for reasons of style alone. This was reflected at the launch of the trailer in Mumbai yesterday, where each of the four actresses put their most fashionable foot forward, in their own distinct looks.

The four actresses each defined chic and glamorous in their own right.

Sonam Kapoor was couture chic in her gorgeously white Celia Krithariot dress with exaggerated balloon sleeves and flared skirt. Nailing it as always, she kept her make-up simple and let the dress do the talking. And talk it did.

Kareena Kapoor was our cas chic. In a custom Dhruv Kapoor blue pant-suit paired with a bandeau top and a vintage brooch, we loved how simply bold the look was. And can we please have a standing ovation for that rocking bod?

Our ReallySwara was really pink and really playfully chic in her Lavish Alice fold-over playsuit. Summer vibes done right, even her half-visible tattoo was a playful tease.

Shiksha Talsania schooled us in how to look work chic with her simply modish white shirt and grey asymmetrical Marks & Spencer skirt. She may as well have been at work, or a party, or a brunch even, the look would have worked just as fabulously.

All the looks were loved by fans all over. The actresses were styled by Rhea Kapoor and the absolute best part about each look is how easy and relatable it is for any woman out there who wants to look stylish but isn't sure how to go about it. Each look kept it simple, and tuned to the season.
