Bhumi Pednekar's Bejewelled Lehenga Blouse Does All The Talking

Bhumi Pednekar is on a mission to take her style game to another level. For the latest promotional event of her movie Mere Husband Ki Biwi, the actress picked a lehenga choli set from the brand Pankaj S Heritage, which can easily turn heads.

The Varanasi Khinkhaab lehenga featuring gold, midnight blue and forest green hues accompanied by motifs of elephants, peacocks and deer is indeed a fine example of brocade work. Bhumi teamed her voluminous skirt with yet another wonder - a Hasli blouse, simply one of its kind.

Bhumi's blouse featured Bikaneri Meena, Kundan and Jadau Tukdi embedded with gems using the finest of Zardozi stitches. As per the designer, it is a rare and romantic juxtaposition of vernacular jewellery pieces, “Vana Shringharam”, collected from all across India. It is finely embellished with metal wire embroidery, serving pure maximalist fashion goals.

The jewellery may have been less for Bhumi as she opted for some stunning vintage jewellery pieces to add to the outfit too. She wore a pearl choker from Amrapali Jewels and statement rings. She also wore parrot-shaped bracelets on both hands and chose stunning hair accessories from Golecha's Jewels and Kalamandir Jewellers to keep her bun intact and stylish. The list doesn't end here. The actress further wore dual ear-cuffs from the brand Olio for an exceptionally regal look. 

Coming to her makeup, Heema Dattani rounded off Bhumi's charm with a subtle matt base. Blushed cheeks with nude lipstick added a fresh glow to her face. Meanwhile, shimmery brown eyeshadow with winged eyes and defined brows added an edginess to her overall glam.

This is not the first time we were startled by Bhumi's maximalist fashion. During the trailer launch event for her upcoming film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, the actress stunned in an archival lehenga from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla's collection. The actress paired her voluminous crushed silk violet-hued ghagra with a matching dupatta and yet another beaded mirror blouse featuring floral motifs all over it. A statement choker, a unique pair of bajubandhs and earrings added to the grandeur of the maximalist look.
