Among the numerous fashion trends, colour blocking has taken the front seat this summer. With pops of orange and vibrant greens and yellow - it continues to be a colourful blast. However, the classic combination of black and pink emerged as the number one choice of many Bollywood divas and especially this one. Shehnaaz Gill channelled the colour combo in a skirt and coat set recently but set us soaring for the new week. The actress tucked a turtle-neck top in a hot pink, wrap-around mini skirt, featuring an asymmetrical hemline. To make it qualify for the boardroom fashion, Shehnaaz layered the outfit with a black coat. Chunky golden accessories: earrings and rings, along with black tied-up heels accompanied her look. Matte finish skin with rosy blush highlighting her cheekbones, mascara-laden eyelashes and rouge lips were her glam picks.

Before Shehnaaz, it was Rakul Preet Singh who gave the perfect pop of pink to her otherwise black gown. Advocating the sustainable fashion trend, the actress turned muse to designer Rajesh Pratap Singh. He picked a flowy silhouette gown, which came with hot pink sleeve extensions, from the shelves of the designer. A risque plunging neckline, for instant oomph to the look, was followed by a loose tie-knot detailing. She accessorised the gown with Swarovski jewels: a black and white choker necklace and matching rings. Her wavy brown tresses were left open. And, for the nude glam, she sided with contoured cheeks and glossy lips.
Huma Qureshi wore a bright pink crop top with a black skirt to give a colourblock spin to her wardrobe. Outfit courtesy: clothing brand Revolve. The crop top, featuring power sleeves and a sweetheart neckline, was teamed with a long black skirt with a thigh-high slit on the side. The golden ring detailing, apart from adding an edge to her style, held the skirt in place. For the footwear, she stayed loyal to black strappy heels. While her hair was tied in a sleek ponytail, Huma added a dash of glamour with shimmery eyelids, winged eyeliner, high-lighted cheeks and lip gloss. She finished off with a pair of golden hoop earrings for accessories.
Between Shehnaaz Gill, Rakul Preet Singh and Huma Qureshi, who nailed the black-pink look the best?
