It's not every day you see two global stars, both female celebrities give a shout-out to one another, without thinking about competition. But Hollywood star Blake Lively believes that a woman's instinct to lift each other to the highest potential should be considered a “norm” and not an “exception”. The Gossip Girl actress empowered all women on Saturday by sharing a post that screams her pure bond with pop sensations – Beyonce and Taylor Swift. The post, which featured a slew of pictures of Blake with Beyonce and Taylor, was shared with detailed text. The pictures were clicked during one of the events of Beyonce's latest release Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce in London. Inspiring her Instagram family, Blake referred to the age-old female rivalry stereotype and how women are always pitted against each other. She then added a quip in good humour asking the two global pop sensations to not be “threatened” by her “pop stardom”. The actress added that we all must consider it our responsibility to exhibit to the “younger generations the power of aligning rather than dividing.”
Giving a big shout-out to Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce, Blake captioned her post, “When I grew up, women were always pit against one another. It took me until adulthood to see that the instinct for women to lift each other up to their highest potential is the norm, not the exception. Most of my best friends are women who would've been packaged to me as threats or competition. It's our job to show younger generations the power of aligning rather than dividing. All this to say, Beyonce and Taylor Swift neither of you have to be threatened by my pop stardom. There's space for us all. Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce. On the same day, Taylor Swift also shared a series of pictures with Beyonce and Blake Lively. Sharing the clicks, Taylor simply wrote, “Got invited to London by The Queen…Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce is in theatres now!!"
