Monday has started on a vibrant note and for that, we have Blake Lively to thank. The Hollywood actress stepped out over the weekend to celebrate Gigi Hadid's 27th birthday. The starry guest list included the likes of Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski but Mrs. Lively managed to shine through with her style statement. For the event, Blake was captured by the paparazzi wearing a sleeveless purple bodycon mini dress. She paired it with a braided red clutch which she held in her hand and matched with her bright red pumps. Blake's blonde tresses were left loose and complemented her rosy toned makeup look. The colourblock trend, bursts of vibrance and bodycon fit were all that was needed to take us on a nostalgia trip to the early 2000s.

When Blake previously made a red carpet appearance for spring, she went the sorbet-inspired pastel route. With husband Ryan Reynolds by her side, she picked a tiered flowing designer dress in tones of blue and pink. Along with cape detail sleeves and a high slit, every head was turned in her direction.
When Blake skips colour entirely doesn't mean she skips the style quotient. Another outing saw her in a sleeveless white crop top and fitted midi skirt with a matching jacket thrown over. White heels streamlined the look while a red lip added a pop of colour.
