While the corset has been around for centuries, it is swiftly making an appearance in Bollywood this season for its fashion quotient. Originally meant to to sculpt the torso, it's hardly being used as an instrument for body enhancement any longer. Sharvari Wash is the latest Bollywood celebrity to choose a corset in the most chic way possible. Posing with her brunette locks styled in big waves, Sharvari is seen wearing a white corset in her latest set of Instagram photos. The thin strap creation has a lace overlay and sheer panels which give a peekaboo effect. Seemingly styled with white bottom wear, it's a heavenly style selection with a perfectly sultry finish.

But before Sharvari showed us how it's done, it was Janhvi Kapoor. Days ago, it was this Bollywood actress who gave us a taste of how stylish corsets could be when included in a formal ensemble. Janvhi too picked a white lace corset but it was her modest layering that made this look more accessible. Over it was an oversized white blazer which was paired with a high waist white skirt having a slit in the front. Business chic or what?
Last month, Bhumi Pednekar too picked her corset to wear but styled it with a casual twist. The Bollywood actress picked a white t-shirt dress and wore a gold corset on top of it. Layering doesn't always have to be stuffy, as you can see for yourself.
