A video that grabbed our attention on social media features a woman who is seen performing a break dance in a saree and heels. The video has set the internet ablaze as it breaks stereotypes around wearing traditional attire for contemporary dance. The video clip beautifully captures the amalgamation of culture and contemporary dance forms. Not only is her saree fluidly set in motion, but it also adds to the charm of her dance moves with its ethnic flair. The video was shared by an Instagram page with the handle 'nepalhiphopfoundation01' and the post has tagged M Jenisha on it. The dancing woman is elegantly dressed in a pastel saree with a short-sleeved blouse which she effortlessly carried at a social gathering. She also wore white pointed heels to complete her ethnic look.

As the music begins to play, the woman promptly begins dancing to the tunes and performs a series of break dance moves effortlessly. The crowd instantly breaks out into cheer and applause egging her on. The video has received plenty of love and praise for the dancer who has skillfully displayed advanced-level, contemporary dance moves despite the obstruction that the ethnic wear poses.

Since the video was posted it has amassed over 7.6 lakh views and has been shared to many other accounts and platforms. "Breaking in Traditional. Keeping it real on Heels and Saree!!!" reads the caption on the video.

One fan commented, "Omg super confident and great dancer as well ....i can't even walk properly with saree"

Another fan was all praises for the dancer in her comment, "Yes girl! Get it!! 👏👏🔥"

As is the nature of social media, not all the comments on the posts came from fans. One naysayer commented, "When you wanna breakdance but the breakdance don't want you."
