Thomas Robert Daley, better known as Tom Daley, has won hearts when he brought out his knitting needles in the past. That continued with his knitting at the Paris Olympics 2024. The gymnast won the Olympics gold for the fifth time at the greatest international sporting event, alongside Noah Williams in the men's synchronised 10m platform in Paris on Monday. His achievements aside however, the internet has been wrapped around his knitting needles. Over the years, Tom Daley has been seen pursuing his love for knitting, which he showcases on a dedicated Instagram handle called Made With Love.

Tom Daley and his love affair with knitting, crochet and craft has been a long standing one and he has been spotted adeptly knitting during the past Olympics. Knitting has been connected to fight depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, addiction and chronic pain. What's more, a wide variety of people have benefited from it. The British diver has been on this bandwagon for a long time.
In the spirit of Tom Daley and his casual knitting from the stands; here are some of the times he was seen knitting at the Olympic Games:
- Recently, Tom was caught on camera knitting while watching the springboard final at the Paris Olympics 2024. He was busy knitting to his own rhythm while occasionally looking up to watch the sport.
- Previously, he knitted a cozy little pouch for his Olympic gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics back in 2020 to prevent it from getting scratched.
- Also at the Tokyo Olympics, Tom was spotted knitting an Olympic-themed white cardigan for himself with motifs of the Union Jack, Great Britain, Tokyo and the Olympics logo on the back and more. He made it as a cosy and chunky memoir of the Tokyo Olympics for himself.
- Tom was also spotted knitting a royal blue cardigan with 'Daley' embroidered on the back in white and red and white coloured piping on the neckline.
- Tom was also seen knitting a Union Jack-themed applique in hued of bright red, blue and white to be added to his pieces at the ongoing Paris Olympic games.
Tom Daley won hearts across the globe for both, his Olympic medals and knitting.
