After her stylish wedding, she is back at it again - this time in Cannes. Fresh off her wedding, her mehendi not off yet, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is wowing us all over again on the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival. After maintaining a sharp eye on all her wedding outfits, fans were keenly waiting for Sonam's choice of outfits and designers at Cannes. And boy, were they rewarded! Everyone who were hoping for western outfits during her wedding can now get their fill of Sonam in gowns and dresses.

But for Sonam, it is never just about wearing anything. Whatever she chooses to don always makes some or the other statement. Like the time she wore that natth, and the choker - mixing Indian beauty elements with western outfits - this time she wore a kundan naga jadai on her braid. But that's not it; seems like the actress is presenting all summer trends on the red carpet.

Keeping it chic, she showcased the two big albeit not so unpredictable summer trends at the Cannes Film Festival - prints and floral.

Many loved her very classy, very French polka dots on polka dots look where she wore a Mother of Pearl dress with black shoes and a black handbag. The black and white always works of course, but the exaggerated polka dots were a win.

Then came the phenomenal Ralph & Russo lehenga. Going the Indian way, the lehenga still had a lot of western-esque elements - the single drape sleeve for example. This did look like something that she could have worn for her wedding reception but oh well. The hair accessory was absolutely lovely here.

In a Delpozo dress next, Sonam was spring queen in all her glory. The handmade floral embroidery and work on the midi dress was bright and vibrant as the season's call.

Some would argue that prints and florals have eternally been a spring-summer trend. And fair enough; they are to the hot season what layering is to winters. But a chic reminder from our very own fashionista doesn't hurt.
