The Cannes red carpet is a prestigious platform for many reasons and watching some of our most favourite celebrities walk down that path is a moment of sheer joy and pride. Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Cannes style veteran Aishwarya Rai are global icons and don't miss the Cannes for anything. The pandemic had different plans though. This year however, our hearts are still filled with pride as we see many social media faces walk the red carpet and true to their style, in fabulous traditional attire. Masoom Minawala and Diipa Buller-Khosla are India represents this year at Cannes 2021 as they paint the red carpet with the tricolour. Masoom Minawala makes her sparkling debut at the red carpet in a spectacular Manish Malhotra number with cape sleeves that was made for a fashionista like her. She added a hint of colour with her emerald earrings from Boucheron and we're still in awe of her pinch-me-moment.

Diipa-Buller Khosla may be third time lucky at the Cannes red carpet this year but it is her debut as a mother too and wow are we amazed at this glorious being! Her first appearance this year had to be in her traditional best and best it certainly was. We saw her gypsy heart invoked through her printed Falguni Shane Peacock lehenga and excuse us as we still reel from the marvel that the female anatomy is that looked this fabulous after childbirth.
As much as they glammed up gorgeously in traditional looks is how much they did justice to phenomenal ball gowns too. Both picked effortlessly chic gowns that turned them into real-life princess overnight. Masoom Minawala picked a stunning sorbet-hued tube dress with a structured bustier from designer Lia Stublla paired with drop earrings. Seems like fairytales did come true for Masoom!

She complemented her look beautifully with a sleek high ponytail and full brows and all we had to say was - take a bow!
