The prestigious Cannes red carpet got a desi doze by Mrunal Thakur in a silver saree gown designed by Falguni Shane Peacock. We were given a hint of it through her Instagram stories a few days ago segueing into her big Cannes moment. She wears a silver saree gown in the designer duo's signature style. The saree gown features a linear sequinned pattern running through the saree that ditches the front pleats for a cinched waist. The sheer drape makes not just Mrunal Thakur's dreams come true, but if we are equally lucky to wear it, it would be for us too. She goes the monochromatic route again by picking a silver bikini top-style blouse that makes a starry entry into the glamorous event. She goes full desi with her kohl-lined eye makeup, soft waves and her fiercely glam avatar that we hope is just the beginning of many Cannes milestones.
