Cannes Throwback: Disney Princess To Flamenco Queen, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan In 2017

Beauty queen and global icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will once again be walking the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival. This is going to be her 17th year of attending the international event, and we surely can't get enough of her. Aishwarya has truly evolved with her fashion statements over the years, getting only better and better with her choices. But before we break our heads over which designer outfits she will be picking this year, let's take a look back at the Bollywood superstar's smashing appearances in Cannes 2017 that no doubt proved that she is a red carpet pro.

We are sure the first thought in your mind is Aishwarya's Disney princess look, isn't it? After all who can forget her stunning, powder blue ball-gown designed by Michael Cinco? Aishwarya looked like a real life princess in the voluminous gown, which had delicate embroidery in floral patterns, and a plunging neckline that even made cleavage showing a classy affair. Wanting all attention on the gown, the beauty queen had chosen to team it with zero accessories while keeping her hair and makeup simple too.

Even before Aishwarya's Cinderella look took the world by storm and her name splashed over every 'best dressed' list, Aishwarya's first appearance at Cannes 2017 was a complete stunner too, setting the tone to what was about to follow. She looked 10 years younger in a vibrant Yanina Couture dress. The two-tiered deep green dress had floral and stripe patterns in colour pop hues, and Aishwarya had teamed it with red hot lips to look completely beach ready at the French riviera.

Floral patterns definitely seemed like the Bollywood star's theme for last year, as Aishwarya's second look too was a cream coloured, off shoulder dress with sweetheart neck and of course colourful floral details all over.

For Aishwarya's next look, she gave us all black swan vibes dressed in an Ashi Studio off-shoulder dress. With a pop of bright orange lip shade, fierce winged eyeliner and turquoise eyeshadow, the actress looked every bit the diva that she is. She was seen soaking in the sun with her wings spread out. Pretty symbolic, isn't it?

And for the superstar's last look, when everyone waited eagerly for the finale, Aishwarya made a show stopping entrance on the red carpet in a fiery red Ralph and Russo dress. She again picked an off shoulder design with multi-layered ruffles and stone embellishments in floral patterns at the top. Aishwarya teamed it with dark lips and gentle curls, and exuded a glamorous Spanish vibe. We almost thought that ace dancer would break into a flamenco any moment.
