No matter which Bollywood star you're a fan of, there's one thing you cannot deny - when it comes to breaking fashion stereotypes and setting new trends, there's no one like Sonam Kapoor. If there's anyone who has been an absolute trailblazer in changing the way that the Indian film industry views fashion, and consequently the way their fans look at fashion, it's Sonam. Fashion is a form of expression and art; Sonam Kapoor seems to have been the first contemporary Indian actress to have introduced that notion right when she started. There's been no stopping this fashionista from growing and experimenting in the fashion department and carving a place for herself in the international world of fashion. Her sartorial choices have been anything but ordinary, whether on the red carpet, in her everyday life or when she's busy promoting her films - currently, Veere Di Wedding.
Sonam Kapoor, along with the rest of the team of Veere Di Wedding, has left no stone unturned to promote her upcoming film. When it comes to Sonam, though, you can be sure that she will do it while basically personifying fashion in the truest sense. Even with the long hours and hectic schedule, Sonam has managed to look on point through the promotions. What has especially caught our attention, though, is Sonam's flare for cropped, well, everything. We've all heard of and seen crop tops, but Sonam has pulled a few new trends out of her wardrobe this season.
Yesterday while promoting Veere Di Wedding on the sets of a Hindi soap opera, Naagin 3, Sonam was spotted wearing a lavender and gold chanderi, cotton silk and muslin kurta set from Good Earth. What was so different about this ensemble? Notice how her palazzos end midway through the calf. Now that's not something we've seen too many people do before. Above the ankle we've seen, but this gives cropped palazzos a new meaning.

A few days prior to that, we saw Sonam wear a gold cropped saree from designer Rashmi Varma. The length and style of the saree was enough to set it apart, but the jumper style blouse made the ensemble pop even more.
Of course, Sonam did also give us something a little more basic, albeit rather chic. Sonam wore a blue and white floral co-ord set from Huda Al Nuaimi for another round of promotions. We're digging the crop top and maxi skirt combination.

What's it going to be for you? Cropped pants, saree or the little more basic crop top? Sonam seems to approve of them all.
