If you thought a single outfit worn for a red carpet event would suffice, Rihanna might beg to differ. While many celebrities switch their ensembles in the midst of star-studded events, the artist took it a step further at the recent 2023 Academy Awards. Rihanna is currently pregnant with her second child with partner A$AP Rocky and didn't that let her stop her from taking things up a notch for the illustrious event. She performed the Oscar-nominated number 'Lift Me Up' while slaying red carpet style as she usually does. Not once or twice though, a whole three times.

Rihanna started the evening with an Alaia dress that had a risque touch to it. The long sleeve black sheer dress featured a leather bralette and matching flowing skirt which had cutouts over the side. With a deep red lip, RiRi had her hair up in a messy updo with dangling earrings.

Her next look was seen when she performed on-stage in an outfit of a printed pair of pants and bralette from Maison Margiela. Sheer strap details and silver embellishment found its way over the bralette. She paired it with gloves and diamonds dripping from her ears and neck while her hair was down.
Here's where the surprise came in. Post her performance, Rihanna went back and sat in the audience besides Rocky but not before changing into her third look of the night. She wore a mint green cropped blouse which bared her baby bump. She paired it with a green maxi skirt worn low on her waist and matching green gloves. Once again, Rihanna kept her hair loose with a shimmery makeup look. Only she can do it like a maternity dream come to life.
