Decoding Deepika Padukone's Gorgeous Winged Eye Makeup Look

At the recent Elle Beauty Awards 2018, Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone looked like a million bucks wearing a glittering silver Gauri & Nainika gown with a single shoulder detail and thigh high slit along with matching pumps, Mahesh Notandass earrings and a low ponytail.

And even though her outfit was spectacular, it was her eyes that stole the show. Deepika opted for sharp winged eyeliner, defined brows and nude lips; a stunning makeup look that she slayed in before. To get Deepika Padukone's eye makeup, follow these steps.

Step 1 - With this being an eye heavy makeup look, start by priming the lids with L'Oreal Magic De-Crease Primer to keep makeup oil-free and in place. It costs Rs 1254 from Rs 1503.

Step 2 - Use Faces Ultime Eyebrow Pencil in small strokes to brush, line and fill in the eyebrows to get Deepika's defined eyebrow look. It costs Rs 398 from Rs 499.

Step 3 - With a fluffy eyeshadow brush, use the light brown shade from Sugar Bend The Rules Vogue eyeshadow palette over the inner corner, centre of the lid and in the crease. It costs Rs 1599.

Step 4 - Now is where you get down to business. Use a liquid liner like Colorbar All Matte Eyeliner, which costs Rs 685 from Rs 700, to draw a thick stroke from the inner corner diagonally until you've reached the outer corner. Join the line till the outer end of the eye and fill in the outline.

Step 5 - On a narrow brush, use black eyeshadow from the same palette to slightly smudge the upper end of the wing and give it a smokey effect.

Step 6 - Use kajal like Lotus Ecostay Kajal, which costs Rs 243 from Rs 325, to line the lower waterline and thicken it at the outer end where it meets the wing.

Step 7 - Apply 2 coats of mascara like Faces Volume Perfect Mascara, which costs Rs 398 from Rs 499, to get luscious lashes like Deepika.
