Jawan's trailer was released with great pomp and show in Dubai but it was Deepika Padukone's multiple scenes revealed in the trailer that sent shockwaves among eager fans and even fashion enthusiasts. We had Rani aka Alia Bhatt's dreamy sorbet-coloured chiffon sarees in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani on one end of the spectrum make the cut for the saree trend of the season. But it seems like Deepika Padukone is ready to give it a tough fight with bright printed sarees. In her big reveal first look, we can't see beyond a glimpse of her teal saree with large floral designs in a bright contrasting orange tone. The accessories are a winner on every front too. She picks long dangling heart-shaped earrings with bright green tones on them ensuring the saree game is as fun as it is fashionable.

We concur that Deepika Padukone may not have a large role in Jawan but definitely a significant one. Not only did she prove her saree to be a stylish one but in the fight sequence against Shah Rukh Khan, she proved her saree to be at ease with her systematic slam too. It only made sense for a red saree to add to the cinematic effect as powerful as this with a monochromatic touch.

We believe that Deepika Padukone's saree-torial choices throughout the film are all about the bright colours.
