Ananya Panday's style statements have always been unique. From her penchant for clean silhouettes to her take on pastels, the actress' fashion game acts as the perfect mood board for all things minimal. So it was only obvious that we would witness a similar taste in the interior design of her first-bought home as well. Last year, Ananya bought a breezy one-bedroom apartment, just a few floors above her parents' place in Mumbai's Bandra. To make her new acquisition, her first home special, Ananya sought help from none other than ace interior designer and family friend Gauri Khan. Needless to say, Gauri gave Ananya's house countless picture-perfect corners. But in Ananya's words, her apartment is now an extension of her personality.
Beginning with her TV room, the L-shape couch turns out to be the major highlight of the room, featuring big windows that welcome generous sunlight in the room. The textured rug, beige couch and the divider of the room boast a monotone colour palette. A silver and black coffee table adds much-needed contrast to the TV room that sits at the far end of the living room. While the candles accentuate the coffee table, the small indoor plant adds a flush of colour to the room. Don't miss out on the matching prints of the cushions and the lampshades.
A controlled colour palette extends through the remaining part of the home. With customised furnishing and wallpaper by Gauri Khan Designs, the living room stands tall as a true example of minimal aesthetics. The massive windows have a big hand in keeping the room well-lit. The floral patterned wallpaper keeps the room lively even when the sun goes down. Once again the couch, side seater, lamp shade, sheer curtains and the rug came in neutral hues. It was the pristine white centre table and the indoor plant placed on it, that stood out
Ananya Panday's love for pastels was also visible in the interiors of the kitchen. In the house, designed in shades of beige and cream, a kitchen with baby blue shelves and white countertops added an uber-cool charm. The small but well-equipped kitchen extended into a dining room with a four-seater beige dining table to match its wooden flooring. The window by the dining room opens out to a green stretch of Bandra and lets in plenty of daylight. The round dining table fixture further accentuates the room.
